BOLZONI GROUP OPENS NEW FACTORY IN FINLAND We have the pleasure of announcing that AURAMO OY - our Finnish subsidiary and production plant - has moved to new headquarters in the industrial area of Järvenpää, 40 km north of Helsinki. The Bolzoni Group has won the KION SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR award for 2012. In the 1990s Canada was the largest exporter in the world of forest products amounting to 25 million tons. Following the increasing demand of Canadian paper mills and printing companies for damage free handling solutions, in 1992 the Finnish forest products manufacturer Auramo decided to establish a new company Auramo Ltd in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, a region accounting for the largest share of total paper production. In 2001, Italian Bolzoni acquired Finnish Auramo and later the Canadian subsidiary changed its name to Bolzoni Auramo Canada Ltd, further extending its range of lift truck attachments.

In Shanghai on 22nd October the final completion was given to the execution of the contract whereby the Tiger Group of Taiwan acquires from Bolzoni SpA a 20% share in Bolzoni Holding Hong Kong, for a value of about 2 million euros in cash, with a total subscription in share capital increase, to be employed to pursue the development plans already set up in China by the Bolzoni Group.

After several years of business activity directly handled by the head quarter in Italy, it has been decided to create a local presence on these markets, potentially very important for the near future. Bolzoni Auramo signed a dealership agreement with the company RFA Industries Pte. Ltd., in Singapore managed by Mr. John Chia.

Emilio Bolzoni, Chairman of Bolzoni S.p.A., has been appointed President of Confindustria (*) Piacenza. The nomination was made official on June 29 during the annual meeting of the Industrialists of Piacenza. The program presented by Emilio Bolzoni for his two-years presidency is focused on four main challenges: manufacturing industry, role of young people, Expo 2015, connection to Milan.

The new dedicated manufacturing plant of 2700 square meters in Casoni di Gariga, Piacenza, Italy has started the production of forks for lift trucks, and other material handling machines.

BOLZONI S.p.A.: the 100% acquisition of Meyer has been concluded, the second manufacturer in Germany for lift truck attachments and the fourth worldwide. Thanks to this operation Bolzoni increases its turnover by approximately 30% and considerably strengthens its leadership in Europe.
